Hi. I'm Erin.
I use design to make answers better. I'm fascinated by the ways people interact with their environments and am eager to use design to make these interactions more meaningful. I believe this has a lot to do with looking around and paying attention.
Currently, I have landed in San Francisco where I am a Senior Product Designer at Twitter. I also spend time designing education programs that get high school students, young girls, and inner city youth excited about careers in design and tech. In 2012, I completed my MFA in Interaction Design at the School of Visual Arts. While at SVA, I developed a collaborative finance product that leveraged social interactions to encourage people to save money for short term goals.
When I'm not designing things, I scratch my itch to go-and-see-and-do as often as possible. Both work and travels have taken me through Northern Pakistan, Dubai, South Africa, Southeast Asia, and Haiti. I also rode a bicycle from New Haven, CT to Seattle, WA - a journey that taught me that you don’t always have to go to far-away places to discover amazing things.
